Luke 1:1-8:56

Luke, a doctor, give us the most details account of Jesus’ birth, in describing Jesus’ birth, childhood, and development, Luke lifts up the humanity of Jesus. Our Savior was the ideal human, Fully prepared, the ideal human was now ready to live the perfect life. Luke accurately records the actions and teachings of Jesus, helping us to understand the way of salvation, especially through Jesus’ parables.
DAY 23 • March 16
Luke 9:1-17:37
Key Verses: Luke 11:37-52
Woah on the woes! Did Jesus really talk that way? Yes, it’s the same Jesus that you see in paintings with little children or holding a baby lamb or playing poker with dogs (okay, not the last one). The point is that Jesus had moments where He went to town on religious folks. It was not all sugar and spice and everything nice. Jesus warned the religious leaders about their pompous attitudes and fake religious practices. Jesus had some pretty strong words for those type of guys. We need to heed those warnings today and be careful not to get caught up in our own ‘I go to church and you don’t’ attitudes. Ask God to strengthen your relationship with Him and reveal what needs to change in your life.
DAY 24 • March 17
Luke 18:1-24:53
Key Verse: Luke 18:41
Can you imagine the reaction of this blind beggar, who was causing such a stir, when Jesus stopped and called him over to Him? Often times, we are surprised by the activity of God in our lives. As you read today, consider your response to the Lord’s question, “What do you want me to do for you?”
DAY 25 • March 18
Romans 1:1- Romans 8:39
Key Verse: Romans 8:38-39
According to the Bible, what can separate us from the love of God? Nothing! Absolutely nothing can separate us from God’s love. The author of Romans, Paul, was searching for words to describe God’s love for us and concluded that nothing in all creation, in Heaven or on Earth, can tear us away from the love of God. Our security in Him is absolute. Live your life knowing you have the unwavering love of the Almighty God!
DAY 26 • March 19
Romans 9:1 - Romans 16:27 Titus 1:1 - Titus 3:5

All ways do not lead to salvation but all are invited to be saved. Everyone who has ever been born is welcome to God’s salvation and His riches in Jesus Christ. We have no excuse. (see also Titus 2:11-12)
